FREE PICKUP IF I CAN TAKE IT
WHAT I PICK UP
Old one sitting around?
These are sometimes called portable power stations, solar generators, or battery-powered generators. I’m interested in units that have been replaced, even if they aren’t working right.
Portable power stations
EcoFlow DELTA and RIVER, Jackery Explorer, Bluetti and similar portable battery power stations.
Solar generators
Battery-powered generators and portable solar power systems. Tell me what pieces you have.
Units with problems
Won’t charge, shuts off early, has a bad display, or just won’t start? Tell me what it’s doing.
Other brands are fine too, including Anker SOLIX and Goal Zero. Send a photo of the model label if you have one.
A FEW QUICK ANSWERS
What if mine doesn’t work?
If it no longer charges, turns off unexpectedly or has been sitting unused, send me a message anyway. I work on equipment and sometimes repair or reuse what I collect.
Do you pick up EcoFlow, Jackery and Bluetti?
Yes, I’m interested in those and other similar portable power stations. Let me know the brand and model, if you know it.
Can I bring it to you?
No. I only arrange pickups around San Diego County. I don’t have a drop-off location.
What about a swollen or fire-damaged battery?
Please don’t move it. I can’t pick up batteries that are swollen, leaking, burnt, unusually hot or otherwise visibly damaged. Contact your local household hazardous waste program for safe instructions.
What happens to the one I give you?
Depending on its condition, I may repair, reuse or resell it. Anything that can’t be used needs to go through an appropriate recycler, not the trash. If I can take yours, pickup is free.
If you only need disposal information, your local household hazardous waste program can explain approved options for large lithium batteries. Store battery bins may not accept a full-size power station.
